Games - Pot luck lunch - Raffles - Have a holiday picture taken of your dog to help raise funds for NERR - Information/demonstration of Canine massage - Canine Massage will be offered with part of the proceeds to benefit NERR. 

Pot Luck Lunch:  Please contact our food coordinator.  We need main dishes, salads and desserts for our pot luck lunch.  Please contact our Food Coordinator by 9/12/09 to let her know what you'll bring:  Elain Medeiros @ 508-697-7441 or elfnurse71@aol.com 

Directions:  In MA take Route I-495 to Exit 9/Bay Street toward Industrial Park Rd/ Taunton.  Travel approx. 1/4 mile, turn right on Industrial Park Road (which becomes Myles Standish Blvd.)  Travel approx 1 1/2 miles, turn left on John Hancock Road.  Silver City Canine Training Center is located 1 mile on the left.  Questions on Picnic Day?  Call Cotton Silverman's cell number 508-930-4794. 

Holiday Photographs:  A fundraiser for NERR, holiday photographs of your dog will be offered, Mike & Barbara Boday will bring a sled and take a festive picture of your Elkhound suitable for the upcoming holiday Season

Keep in Mind: For the safety and well being of all dogs and people please be mindful of keeping dogs on leash, under  control and respectful of the personal space of other dogs.  No flex leads indoors please.

Promotes kindness to animals with music, booths, demonstrations, and adoptable pet parade.  Dogs on leash are welcome

Directions: I 190 Exit 1, stay right going past the mall on your right, the college entrance is on the right across from Dunkin Donuts

What to Bring?

  • If your Elkhound would rather stay at home, watch the game and protect the house from squirrels, bring a photo of your pup to display.
  • Chair for you and exercise pen, if you would like to use one for your dog.

The NERR Dog Walk - October 11, 1008
Rain or Shine 10 am - Noon

Join us, with hosts Mike and Barbara Boday for a 3/4 mile walk through the beautiful woods in Cumberland, RI.

Bring your dog, your family, your friends and their dogs!  It's not just for Elkhounds.  We'd like to have dogs of all shapes and sizes enjoy the walk with us.
The donation to join the walk is $5 per person.  Dogs must be on a leash and Under Control.  No flexi leads please.

Location: 333 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland, RI 02864

Directions:  Take Rte I 295 to exit 10, Rte 122 - Mendon Road in Cumberland RI.  Go North on Rte 122 for approsimately 2 miles to Route 120 (Nate Whipple Highway) Landmarks: Red-light & Navigant Bank on the right.  Take a right on Nate Whipple Highway.  #333 is approx 1+ mile on the right side.  Look for the French horn hanging ona  pole at end of driveway.  There is plenty of parking along the road.
