THE DOGS
ARE RESCUED FROM:
-
The
six New England states
-
Concerned
citizens and Humane Societies who
have found strays
-
Owners
who surrender their dogs for a variety
of reasons
All
adoptive homes must complete an adoption application prior to
being considered to adopt a Norwegian Elkhound. Each application
is screened and you will be interviewed on the telephone. Based
on the gathered information, and if we have a dog that we feel
is a good match, you will be invited to come and see him/her.
Upon approval of all parties (ours, yours and the dog) you may
go home with a new family member.
All
our Norwegian Elkhounds are assessed for good temperament, are
medically updated, and whenever possible are spayed or
neutered.
